Connor and Sadie LOVE being at the beach-- Connor loves to dig in the sand and Sadie loves to wade through the tide pools. Wish every day could be a day at the beach!
Mark and I visited Glacier National Park, along with my parents and Iris last month. It was so gorgeous there with lots of green and blooming wildflowers. We stopped at a picnic site and ate lunch overlooking St. Mary's lake.
We drove up the famous "Going to the Sun" highway to the top of Logan Pass where it is perpetually snow covered in some areas.
This is one of the "weeping walls" along the "Going to the Sun".
This was a beautiful sight--wild horses roaming the foothills near the entrance to Glacier National Park.
Another view of Logan Pass. We hiked up a short distance and enjoyed the views.
On the west side of the park is a wooded hiking trail at Avalanche campground. We hiked again and spotted a deer who stopped and "posed" for us.
This river runs through the campground at Avalanche. Mark gathered several stones from the shore for souveneirs!
Just a few miles west of Glacier is the beautiful Flathead Lake. We drove around the lake and enjoyed the view. There are many cherry orchards along the way, so we stopped and bought fresh cherries for snacking!
We drove from Flathead back into the Park and ended up in East Glacier where many visitors tour in the famous red buses.
